What is the Press Relations Office?

Our office acts as the university representative to local, national and international media. Our duties include but are not limited to: distributing press releases; coordinating interviews with Cornell experts; and creating and distributing Cornell in the News.

The office is located in 234 Day Hall on Central Campus. Our complete mailing address is 234 Day Hall, Ithaca, NY 14853.

Cornell Chronicle

The Cornell Chronicle is the newspaper of record for the university. It is distributed free on campus every Friday when the university is in session, and the web version, ChronicleOnline, is updated daily throughout the year.

Media Production

Media Production provides broadcasting and related services to both Cornell and outside clients. It has a television broadcast studio with satelite uplink capability, as well as an ISDN line for radio broadcasts. To schedule time in the studio or inquire about other services, call (607) 255-8162 or email grp2@cornell.edu.

University Photography

University Photography is Cornell's commercial photography studio offering a full range of services in support of the university's communication efforts. It provides photos for the Cornell Chronicle and have an accessible online database where you can browse or order photos.
